The reverent opening of samples from the creative legacy of Josef Sudek (1896–1976) resonates with the round anniversaries of the photographer's birth and death. Their themes were foreshadowed by the artist's essential connection with Prague. On the one hand, he was inspired by the moods of the local spirit, on the other hand, he contributed to its fame with a number of narrative publications.
