It will be possible to choose a route of 2 or 4.2 km. After the finish, small refreshments and a meeting space will be prepared. The route is also suitable for strollers. Will you join? ▪️18:30–20:00 Panel debate: Climate and human rights – who will be responsible?
The public panel discussion will open the question of what the climate crisis means for human rights in the Czech Republic and what responsibility the state bears for their protection. The debate will connect the perspectives of human rights and environmental organizations and focus on the impacts of climate change on people's daily lives. Speakers will be: lawyer and academic Eva Balounová, doctor and scientist Klára Matoušková, climate activist Klára Bělíčková, lawyer David Chytil. The moderator will be Magdaléna Michlová from Amnesty International.
exhibition of stories of people affected by the climate crisis. The exhibition brings to light the concrete experiences of those whose lives have been affected by heat, floods, drought or other manifestations of climate change, and reminds that the effects of the climate crisis do not affect everyone in the same way.
🌡️ Climate Week 2026 takes place from June 1 to 7 throughout the Czech Republic and connects individuals, organizations, schools and community initiatives. This year's edition is organized by the Climate Coalition, the European Climate Pact, Amnesty International and People in Need.
