About event
The moderated discussion on LOVE IS PATIENT is about love that is given. Specifically, children who do not grow up in their families.
The invitation was accepted by the Your Buddy program, which helps connect volunteers with children who need a partner in life, a life guide, a friend on the phone, simply a person they can count on to be there even if they leave the CDR.
We meet with project coordinator Martin Vrábľ and volunteer Lenka Remeteiová, who has been working with the young girl for several years. We also see Janka Kovalčíková, who not only lent her voice to the advertisements of the Your Buddy project, but is also active in helping those who need it through other projects in Slovakia.
We will talk about prejudices, about functioning, about possible involvement, and above all, we will answer frequent questions about what it looks like in reality to build a healthy relationship with a young person growing up without a family.
If this topic interests you and you are thinking about this form of help and volunteering, this is the right place to come and ask questions that interest you!
We are looking forward to the joint meeting on Monday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Sídlisku 3 in Wave.
