About event
Two shorter performances created by our dancers. We will introduce ourselves in the chapel of Zvolen Castle. Juraj Borsek's ten-minute choreography will be carried by Contemporary, Reggaeton and Commercial Styles. Strömberg: Someower, We Begin Again -
Someower, We Begin Again is a warm reflection of meetings with people around us. It explores humanity, tenderness, love and empathy by playful tones. Through dynamic movement, dancers rediscover different forms of links between people and find out how simple acts of proximity can bring comfort and understanding. The performance changes to a human connection celebration, even in a world that is becoming increasingly distant. Joy, Working Horsa, Slumber and Gentle Crush were used in the show, 3 of which are on their first album "Pivots on and Rock", with Slumber's composition part of their new album, which is scheduled for 2025.
Dancers
Choreography assistance: Eunjeong Oh
perform: Jason Michael Yap, Lenka Mičincová Rajchmanova, Ľubomír Kútnik, Martina Hájková
Music: Javenta (songs: Joy, Working Horse, Slumber, Gentle Crush) 12 years
- cindy ng: medusa -
Medusa dives into complex layers of beauty, shame and transformation. In the performance inspired by the myth of jellyfish, the themes of physical dysmorphia and social pressure on the physical appearance overlap. How to find inner strength and accept in a world full of crooked mirrors? Through the captivating movement and visual poetry, the performance calls on us to question the standards of beauty and to receive the strength of self -love and durability. Kútnik
Length: 20 minutes
