The Studio Dance Theater will present itself in the Brezno Synagogue with the performance Contemporary what?
Contemporary dance is daily bread for the Studio Dance Theatre. However, for many people it is still a great unknown. The theater wants to change that!
Current WHAT? is an educational performance that introduces the audience to the history, principles and insight of this ever-evolving dance art. We want to create a space for casual conversation with the audience about our work. It is a kind of "tasting" of contemporary dance based on the idea that if we understand something better, we can enjoy it more. At the same time, you will learn a lot about our approach to contemporary dance, training and creative focus.
There is no need to be afraid of contemporary dance. It is possible not to always understand him. Current WHAT? but it will clarify something. It conveys the historical context of the development of contemporary dance and approximately the basic methods of its creation.
Length of the performance: 50 minutes
The performance will take place with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Slovakia.
