About event
ZUŠ Ján Albrecht is one of the cultural centers in Bratislava's Petržalka.
ZUŠ Ján Albrecht is also a spreader of Slovak culture abroad. Young musicians gave concerts in Finland, Denmark, Portugal and, of course, in countries neighboring Slovakia. Ali Brezovský, the author of one of the winning songs at the Bratislava Lyra, dedicated his entire work for children to the singing department. The school remembers the already legendary Swing evenings with the jazz legend Alojz Boud, at which this phenomenal pianist also played with the school's students.
The school is the main organizer of two nationwide competitions. Musica Camerata Ján Albrecht is focused on chamber music, and children and young people compete for the Golden Bell in audiovisual and multimedia creations.
