About event

Hi.vstětky are physically on sale in subtle Žižkov or on Ticketliv, do not miss the advance. Thanks for your interest. He became famous as the "King of Pornofolka" - a genre that combines raw, often vulgar and explicit texts with simple folk accompaniment. His songs are balancing between humor, satire and provocation, winning cult status not only among lovers of pub poetry, but also a wider audience. The life and career of Milan Smrčka comes from the South Moravian town Počátky and spent part of his life in Brno. He went through a number of jobs before he became a well -known musician - for example, he worked as a pump, a stoker or a worker. He released his first official music carrier in 1998 under the name Závišova ninth. Since then, he has released more than ten albums, each containing his typical manuscript - incorrect lyrics, black humor and sincere makeup of human weaknesses that other artists often circumvent. The music and lyrics of Záviš's music are simple, often based only on the chord accompaniment of an acoustic guitar. But this does not detract from the power of his work - on the contrary, the texts are what attracts the listeners the most. She sings about topics that are often taboo, such as sex, alcohol, poverty or life on the edge of society. His lyrics are rough, added, but at the same time poetic and often carry hidden social criticism. Among his best known compositions are, for example, they are already going, the eagle drinks water or Záviš's song. Although they can only act as pubs on the first listening, it is clear that Záviš is a master of word and irony. The influence and the fan base, despite (or perhaps just because of) his explicit work, Záviš gained a devoted fan base. His concerts are sold out and the audience consists of both young people and older listeners who appreciate his raw and authentic style. He often performs in smaller clubs and pubs, where his songs stand out best. His personality and creation were made in 2011 by a documentary for three days with Záviš, which captures not only his concerts but also a look into his private life. Today Záviš is still actively concerted and releases new albums. Even after years, he remains faithful to his style and does not avoid criticism or effort for more commercial success. His fans appreciate it mainly authenticity - he says and sings what many think, but do not dare to speak. Whether people love him or hate him, one thing is certain - Záviš is a unique Czech music scene that has indelibly enrolled in the history of the domestic folk
