About event
Ash Wednesday is an invitation to slow down. It is a reminder of who we are - fragile creatures dependent on God's breath of life. It is a moment when we stop, accept the truth about ourselves and listen to the silent call to trust and renewal. Let's enter the fasting period with an open heart - not in fear, but in trust that God knows we are dust… and yet gives us life. Synthesis is simply a synthesis. "
Francois Mauriac
“The Eagle floats at the top of the sky,
The hunter with the clamp follow their circuit. act,
Infinite imagination, infinite attempt,
brings to know movement, but not knowing stability;
knowledge of speech, but not knowing silence;
Where is life what did we lose in living? S. Eliot - chorus of rock
