About event

This workshop is 100% experiential.

The goal is not to create a community that will continue to meet.
The goal is to experience community. A true community of living, deep respect and connection.

Founder M. Scott Peck wrote:

In the heart of man is a longing for peace. Because of the wounds and rejections we have suffered in past relationships, we are afraid to take the risk of disarming ourselves. In our fear, we neglect the dream of an authentic community and take it only as a visionary impossibility. But there are ways that people can come back together, and old wounds can be healed. The mission of Community Building seminars is to teach these principles - to make hope real again - and to really make this vision a reality in a world that has almost forgotten how wonderful it is to be human.
M. Scott Peck MD, author of the book The Untrodden Path

That is why, on behalf of Community building international, we invite you to:

Community Building Seminar.

Why and why?
So that you can try to go further with people than we usually allow ourselves to.
In order to be able to redefine relationships on a deeper basis and to be able to create a connection even where it seems cold, unnecessary, hurtful or unsatisfactory.

This will not be lectures and passive listening.
Each participant is involved in the workshop, ideally with 100% attention and thus shapes its course.

Edward Groody with whom the workshop will take place. to take place is a direct disciple of Morgan Scott Peck, an American psychiatrist and writer who developed this unique method. He was prompted by the breakdown of communities in the US and the need to rediscover a real, vibrant and sustainable community.

"The loneliness epidemic is a growing global problem 21. century, when more and more people, including young people (generation Z, millennials), feel lonely for a long time even in a connected world. This condition, different from voluntary loneliness, seriously threatens physical and mental health, increases the risk of depression and mortality. Europe is one of the main hotspots, while surveys rank Slovaks among the loneliest nations."
