📣We are calling for the happening "Weapons amnesty is not enough"📣
‼️The event will take place on Tuesday, June 30 at the symbolic time of 12:05 in front of the House of Representatives building on Malostranské náměstí.
⚫During the happening, we will symbolically bury firearms that should have been buried by our elected political representative a long time ago.
Selected time five minutes after twelve o'clock points out that the gradation of gun violence is so sad that it is too late even for a warning call for a solution "in five minutes to twelve". Until 30.6. citizens can register or surrender illegally held weapons with impunity. It is more about the documentation and legalization of firearms.
We believe that, based on the Czech experience, this tool is not sufficient to protect human health and lives from attacks with firearms. Gun laws must be tightened.
