The team of First Aid lecturers at PřF UK offers participation in the course:
"Healthcare for recovery events"
What is it about?
A course accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports for all those who they are interested in first aid and want to learn information and skills from basic first aid topics (safety, unconsciousness, resuscitation, bleeding) but also more advanced topics (allergies, poisoning, car accident...). Completion of it entitles the participants to work as a medic at camps, outdoor schools and other recovery events.
Who is the course intended for?
All those interested in first aid and especially those who plan (or are sure, what if...) that they will go to camps, sports courses, outdoor schools, trips, etc. as medical professionals.
What will you learn?
Within the course, you can not only deepen and repeat first aid procedures (unconsciousness, fainting, resuscitation, massive bleeding, but also e.g. burns or full-body convulsions), but mainly to try everything practically during practice situations (simulations). In addition to the basic provision of first aid before the arrival of professional help, participants will also learn about the rights and obligations of a medical professional, how to observe the care of the sick, keep medical records, save a drowning person and many other interesting things.

3.-5.10.2025 + 17.-19.10.2025 + 31.10.-2.11.2025
teaching tentatively:
Friday 17:00-21:00, Saturday and Sunday 9:00-18:00
