About event
Water in the city is valuable and necessary at the same time. Even a small body of water can improve the microclimate of a place and increase biodiversity, which is why we are finally starting a pond after 3 years of building a community garden. Stay with us.
We will be expertly guided by expert Robert Gregorek from the UPJŠ Botanical Garden.
The pit is dug, we have geotextile and pond film. We need to adjust the terrain, stretch the fabric and film, plant the plants and pour water. It will be a challenging, but also stimulating weekend full of new experiences and knowledge.
Tools for work will be provided.
Our friend Kubo Andor will take care of food and drink with his Buffet at Papi's.
We look forward to seeing you!
The intervention itself will be led by Martin Pavlov and Pali Mészáros. Maťo is a supporter of the diversity of flora and fauna in cities and creates permaculture interventions in Košice. He is a member of the Poď na dvor Initiative and co-founded the Community Garden on rubble. Pali Mészáros is an architect and urban planner, co-creator of many urban projects that improve public space. He is a member of the Poď na dvor Initiative and co-founded the Community Garden on rubble.
Participate in the activities of the Climate Resistant Neighborhood project, collect points and win great prizes! You can get your participation card directly at the event. In order to include the participation card in the draw, it is necessary to participate in at least 5 of the 13 project events.
