About event
📣START TO LISTEN TO US tonight in Stará dědla
⭐⭐⭐Today's popular format WOMEN IN THE DINING ROOM will be meetings with stories of families with children with disabilities.
☘️ The Family Platform brings you an evening of inspiring stories, which will take place in the unique community space of the Old Dining Room in Bratislava.
You will hear real stories and meet people you don't meet every day. But we would like you to meet. So that you can start listening to them this evening and get to know them.
They will bring you closer to what they live by, what they lack in their lives, or what supports them.
have two children, one of whom is a child with a medical disability and requires constant care? one of which has a medical handicap and a rare diagnosis? What does daily accompaniment and almost constant care of a child mean? What challenges and meaningful moments does the journey of inclusive education bring? And what impact does such a situation have on her life and the possibility of employment?
🗣️Stanka Španková, a girl with a visual disability
How does one live for a young person, on the threshold of adulthood, with a disability who does it require long-term support and guidance?
🎤Soňa Jánošová, SME editor
The discussion will be moderated. It has a long-term focus on social issues and healthcare.
💡Space for questions: The event will provide space for questions, sharing of opinions and discussions that can move us all forward.
☘️ Community Support and Networking: After the event, take the opportunity to get to know each other and meet for conversations.
