About event
🤔 How does radiation affect our cells and how do cells deal with it? Can we prevent cancer? What can be read from our genes? Can non-invasive brain stimulation boost memory or focus? Were the first women and girls admitted to higher education happy or would they have preferred to stay at home? And what do babies know about speech? We will be happy to answer these and many other questions on Saturday, November 9. on the grounds of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. 🎓
The following are looking forward to the debate with you and their topics:
☢️ Ing. Ondřej Kořistka, MBA – (H)various faces of radiation,
🧫 Mgr. Markéta Pelantová - Cancer and why (not) be afraid of it,
🧠 Luboš Brabenec, Ph.D. – Brain stimulation – new technologies and the power of neuroplasticity,
👅 Kateřina Chládková, Ph.D. – Who has cells for tongues,
🧑🏫 Ivan Puš, Ph.D. – The birth of commercial education in Imperial Austria: From Sunday courses to universities,
🧬 Mgr. Magdalena Havlová - What do our genes say about us?
and moderator Ondřej Lidický, Ph.D. 🎤
