About event

Organized by RNDr. Július Kovács, probably the first political prisoner in Slovakia.

Why don't I give up, even if my own past and surroundings slap me? And I ask you to share.

Friends, recently an acquaintance of mine scolded me that what I do on the Blue Bunny channel is just shouting into the wind.

He told me that I should screw up because I will no longer help this state and they will just shut me down again. he was building a cross to Ján and Martina in Veľká Mač, and why did I fight to save drinking water for millions of people when the system eventually locked me up in Leopoldov for 140 days and made me a criminal.

When I listened to him, I remembered a famous memento from the time of Adolf Hitler's rise: When they closed the first groups of the inconvenient, everyone was silent because it didn't concern them. And finally, when harsh Nazism came, there was no one left to stand up for the oppressed.

This is exactly how creeping totalitarianism works. If today we all sit quietly at home on our backs and say to ourselves that "it doesn't make sense", we will wake up in a state with barbed wire, from which young people can only escape illegally.

Many people today prefer to laugh quietly, play it off as "reasonable" and tell me: "Jula, you will stand alone at the protest in Nitra against Gašpar, and if there are more of you, they will disperse you and they'll close.”

Okay, let them laugh. But if you don't like the politics going on here today, don't sit at home and disgust those who still have the courage to fight!

If you think we in the streets are doing it wrong, show us how to do it right! Don't criticize from the couch, come and show the action. I want to live in a state where decency and truth are not a crime.

Years ago, a wise person told me: "If you are convinced that you are doing the right thing, go for it. Stop, look to see if anyone is going with you. If no one is going, it doesn't matter. Go on even alone, because your inner conviction and conscience will not allow you to act otherwise."

I therefore on Friday I will be standing in Nitra on June 12. For Ján, for Martina, for justice and for the future of this state. See you at the barricades of truth, friends!

We'll be there for a maximum of an hour, then we'll walk along Štefániková street in front of the district monument to the liberation or rather the murderer of the civilian population of Nitra in the last days of World War II. And we will tell the truth about what really happened on that day, March 26, 1945.

They destroyed half of the city, destroyed the old theater and the next day they shot at the Nitra castle and killed 5 clergymen there.

We will not bow down or lay wreaths, we will light candles for the 345 victims of the bombing of Nitra and the 6,000 murdered Jewish citizens of Nitra who died in the concentration camps and were loaded into cattle wagons by their fellow citizens, guardsmen and whatever the doors were closed, they were robbed by arizona.

It is a shame that these events are celebrated and it is manifested thanks to those who killed.
