🟣 At school today, we often meet students and children whose behavior is difficult not only to manage, but also to understand. Anger, aggression, passivity, resistance, even behavioral and attention disorders may appear. The cause can be not only situational, but also chronic. For the teacher, it can be a challenge to understand the reason behind such behavior and to understand the differences in the child's experience and expressions.
At the workshop, we will focus on working with students who are a challenge in schools - students with challenging behavior, difficulties in the emotional and social area. We will discuss:
👉 what are the specifics of these students
👉 how to correctly identify warning signs and prevent the escalation of tension
👉 how to solve problems with such students, record and communicate with parents
👉 how working with emotions in the classroom and how to open this topic with children group and individual.
👩🏫 The workshop will be led by Veronika Bátorová - mentor of RCPU Zvolen-Detva-Krupina. Veronika is originally a social pedagogue and her work is her hobby, therefore, along with inclusion and democratization of education, her top topics include the functioning of school support teams, support measures, and work with students and families from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
▶️ The workshop is intended for PZ and OZ, primarily elementary schools, primarily from the districts of Zvolen, Detva and Krupina. However, other interested parties are also welcome.
