We cordially invite you for the FIRST TIME to the Cestou necesto travel festival in Žiar nad Hronom. We welcome you in the cozy Art Café Žiar. This evening we will visit Asia in two travel lectures. In the first one, to the north of India, which is a little different from the India that is talked about and written about everywhere.
In the second one, we will take you to the border between Europe and Asia - to Turkey, which hides much more like vacations in resorts. We will take you exactly outside of them, to the north, by hitchhiking and with the locals.
18:00 Nikola Kökényová and Katarína "Nana" Naništová - Northern India: From Kashmir to Varanasi
What are you do you imagine when you say India? Stench, cows, dirt, masala and overcrowded streets? We will show you an India where there is none of this. We will show you India, which only recently experienced a military conflict. India, which is more like Tibet or Nepal. India with the world's highest passes and small villages in the Himalayas. Somewhere in there we decided to take a 200 hour yoga course. In the place where yoga was born. And after a month, we checked our calm minds in Delhi, Agra and Varanasi - the places you think of when you hear India. Where there is stench, cows, dirt, masala and overcrowded streets.

19:30 Katarína "Nana" Naništová and Nikola Kökényová: Turkish stories, gentlemen and liters of tea
We will fly to the cultural and economic center of the country between Europe and Asia, we will visit an undiscovered jewel on the shores of the Black Sea with 600 inhabitants, Cappadocia dotted with stone cities from the 6th century BC, the residence of the famous Sufi poet and mystic Rumi, and the touristic shores of the Mediterranean coast. All this interwoven with stories from hitchhiking and living together with the locals. At the end, they will tell you about an experience they would rather not have.
Entrance fee in advance 8 euros, on the spot 10 euros.
