7 years ago, government power interwoven with oligarchs and mafia created an environment in Slovakia, in which 27-year-old journalist Ján Kuciak was murdered for his work revealing corruption. Along with him, his fiancée, archaeologist Martina Kušnírová, was murdered in Velká Mač. In the end, however, we citizens and citizens together with peaceful power and truth were disarmed by Robert Fico, who had to resign. Let us not forget our common strength, especially today, when we are again here again by people that Kočner's library testified. . We are still asking for a fair examination of their murders as well as all the cases Ján Kuciak wrote. She organized gatherings a few years ago. And the gatherings will again be under the auspices of other local initiatives in other cities and abroad. On the Marian Square on Thursday, February 20, 2025, on the eve of the anniversary of the murder of John and Martina.
