The next meeting at Hájovna in Žilina (Cesta k Paľová búda 27) will take place on Thursday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are intended for people who want to actively solve problems at work (for example, but not only unpaid wages), contribute to the discussion with their own topic, a proposal for an activity or participate in ongoing and planned activities. Among other things, we will talk, for example, about solved and current cases of problems at work, and about planned activities in the Žilina region. As usual, our promotional materials will be on site.
PRACTICAL OVERFLOW OF THE MEETINGS
We try to make the open meetings so that they have a practical overhang - so that thanks to them, activities are created based on the needs and interests of the people who come to the meeting. Recently, we have solved problems in a specific company regarding severance pay during the cancellation of a work shift, lying about the amount of wages in job advertisements compared to reality, the issue of paternity leave or forced overtime, but also problems at specific workplaces in Žilina.
At the meetings, we also plan benefit and promotional activities, various types of training, as well as leisure and other activities. />- we discuss ideas for activities of various kinds,
- we evaluate the activities carried out,
- we share our experiences and lessons learned.
Anyone can come to the discussion with their own point.

WHO DO WE WELCOME TO THE MEETINGS?
Direct Action is an anarcho-syndicalist union that does not cooperate with political parties or initiatives of the pro-parliamentary left. In our activities, we do not rely on political parties, capital or the state.
If you feel the same way as us, we look forward to meeting you.
If you are interested in a different approach or are in a political party, the security forces or someone you are in charge of, stay at home.
People openly spreading opinions that deny the principle of equality on the basis of gender, skin color or sexual orientation are not welcome at open meetings.

In addition to Košice, we also organize open meetings in Bratislava, Trnava, Skalice, Košice and Brno. If you are from another region, let us know about yourself, maybe we know someone to connect with.
