About event
🟡 Zimmermann & Mozart: LA LAMENTATIONE • final concert
🗓️ November 24, 2024 • 7:00 p.m.
📍 Moyzes Hall
The final concert of the 2024 festival edition is an invitation to the best Bratislava music from the time of Empress Maria Theresa.
•
"La Lamentatione" is the name taken from Anton Zimmermann's grandiose symphony in C minor, which will offer action drama in the Sturm und Drang style as well as gloomy lamentation in a breathtaking format. Zimmermann's next symphony in E minor and Mozart's phenomenal Serenade KV 388 written for wind instruments in the charismatic Nachtmusique style do not deviate from the outlined expressive positions. The finale of the festival offers an experience with the stunning symphonic sound of Zimmermann's symphonies and the sound diversity of the richly represented wind instruments.
•
