About event
We cordially invite you to the exhibition.
The studio in the forest operates in Pezinok and provides space and optimal conditions for the development of the creative potential of people with disabilities, specifically with mental and multiple disabilities. The goal is to support their creation with various art techniques under the guidance of a special teacher and an art therapist with many years of experience.
In the studio, artists have been meeting during the school year for over twelve years once a week, every Tuesday, and create unique works of art using various techniques. They come from Pezinok, Bratislava, Báhoň, Šenkvíce, Harmonia and even from Nové Mesto nad Váhom. They regularly exhibit their works, even abroad.
Meetings in the studio represent for these people a certain form of confrontation with the environment, the filtering of tension and, last but not least, lead to the stimulation of self-confidence and a positive perception of oneself. They represent one of the ways to understand this world. They can also contribute to education, rehabilitation and socialization. They also help in acquiring manual skills and work habits. Last but not least, they represent a pleasant pastime of free time.
Since 2012, the studio has been led by Mgr. Marcela Jurášová.
List of exhibiting authors:
Ferko Noskovič, Olinka Kroková, Lenka Petáková, Lacko Garaj, Hanka Belková, Adam Dovičovič, Milanko Sandtner, Zuzka Csontosová, Jožko Novák, Janko Mocik
