Mountains, winter bivouac, hut, snowshoes, a great group...look forward!
We invite you to the 58th Trekland Trip. This time we prepared something special again. In cooperation with the American brand MSR and the distributor VERTONE, we will test their snowshoes in the beautiful environment of the ridge of Lúčanská Mala Fatra. January winter, it's not just like that, and that's why this Trip won't be just that ordinary either. Snowshoes will lead you to the place where you will have to survive the first night under the stars in a winter bivouac. It is one of the most powerful and unforgettable experiences that you don't experience every day. The second night will be a reward for you in the warm and cozy mountain chalet Javorina in Martinské holy.
It will be something you have never experienced...
It will be really wild and freezing...< br/>
During the day we will get to the bivouac place and later in the evening we will light our feet with flashlights on a night hike, where working with a map and GPS will save our lives :) The guest will be a representative of the MSR brand, so there will be space to all detailed questions. During the day and night in the bivouac, we will teach you many useful skills on how to behave in such an environment and you will learn to survive the winter bivouac in comfort. Of course, there will be various competitions and lots of fun. Due to the nature of the event, participation is limited.
Winter bivouac and snowshoe hiking offer an unforgettable experience that allows you to get to know nature in its purest and humblest form. You will finally have the opportunity to experience the beauty of snow-capped mountains and forests without crowds of tourists. This experience will also help you develop both physical and mental resilience, as winter conditions require good preparation and the ability to improvise. In addition, it is an excellent way to escape from everyday stress and gain new energy in the fresh air.
The price includes:
- rental of new MSR snowshoes during the entire trip< br/>- HAAGO hand warmers
- testing of JULBO glasses
- accommodation for the second night at the Javorina cottage in Martinské holy
- workshop focused on movement on the mountains in winter period
- planning and accompanying the entire route
- program during the entire event, etc.
What to take with you
- suitable clothing and equipment for hiking in during the winter season
- mat, winter sleeping bag, bivouac bag or sleeping tent
- warm gloves, down... (other information will be added to registered users)
- hiking sticks
- heap of positive energy
How to participate
- by filling out the registration form on the website www.treklandtrip.sk
- subsequently an invoice with a participation fee of €100 will be issued
- your place is reserved after payment of the invoice
- participation is your own responsibility
- we will meet on 24.1. Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the final parking lot in Višňovo near Žilina
- transport is individual
- we will gradually add more information to registered participants
- P.S. - the event takes place in any weather, there will be snow!
