Live chain for Slovakia in the EU

Robert Fico's government wants to enforce an anti -European amendment to the Constitution, which will move us away from the European Union and bring us closer to authoritarian Russia. The amendment would allow Slovakia to ignore the EU law and international treaties to which we voluntarily enrolled in Slovakia and which significantly improved the quality of life in Slovakia. At the same time, the amendment to the Constitution will give the government a dangerous instrument for promoting other restrictions on our freedoms and Slovak democracy - and opens the way to a possible withdrawal from the EU. This is a systemic intervention that will affect the legal status of children, parents, people with disabilities, but also the objectivity of teaching in schools, scientific research or culture. In one of the most important breakthrough points in our history, we decided to belong to the West. Now, however, we can lose our future in it by a quiet decision in Parliament. Together we have to prevent this. Become part of a live chain that will keep Slovakia in the EU. On Monday, April 26, at 6 pm, we meet before the European Commission on Palisades 29 to connect this place with our parliament with a live chain and send a signal to the government that our future is in the EU, not in Russia.
