About event
🏺What do we bring with us from the roads? What stories carry objects of another culture? And what does it say about us? 🏺
🗺️ The exhibition of biographies of people and things closer to the fates of non -European subjects from the collections of the Museum of the City of Bratislava and current collectors and collectors. It examines their origin, function and circumstances in which they got into the collection fund. Today we are trying to read their meaning again - with respect, critical distance and understanding. Nevertheless, the research of these subjects is becoming an important source of our knowledge, as well as a mirror of interest in other cultures that was once present in Bratislava and is still here today. It consists of stories of Bratislava and Bratislava citizens who create personal relationships for objects from different parts of the world.
