About event
Theatrical performance accompanied by the music of Jozef Lupták
Dancers in constant improvisation create a harmonious whole of the dance craft. Sometimes dramatic, sometimes funny, sometimes poetic, sometimes sad. The music for the work is created by the world-famous Slovak cellist Jozef Lupták. In the inspiration of the moment and in dialogue with the dancers right on stage.
Dance performance Zlaté dno perceives dance as a craft. Skill. The ability to create a story from movement.
A dancer's body as an orchestra. The choreographer is the composer. Each part of the body is an instrument that has its own representation in the musical body. It is important even if it is silent (not moving). He is waiting for his opportunity. Sound at the right moment.
A dancer's body like a statue. Working with the form of the body is like a human sculptor. Muscle tension, body texture and dynamics create a work of art.
Dancer as an actor. Control of expression and the ability to create an emotion in the moment. Here and now.
Before the performance itself, you can look forward to a solo performance by Jozef Lupták.
Admission: €8 / children, students, seniors €5
Duration of the performance: 50 minutes
Suitable for children from 5 years old
The event was supported from public funds by the Art Support Fund.
Notice: Currently in progress long-awaited reconstruction of social facilities.
For this reason, we ask for your patience and understanding during events with an improvised toilet: ladies in the dressing room (behind the small stage in the vestibule) - gentlemen outside (toi-toi).
The work will take approx. until the end of 2024.
We will replace today's reduced comfort with tomorrow's increased comfort. Thank you for your understanding.
