About event
—ENGLISH BELOW—
Zlokot + Blve Velvet (Randal Club)
Entry is free.
A joint evening at Randal Club will bring together two generations of alternative music – cult confidence and young ferocity. After returning to the scene in 2022, Zlokot has again become one of the most prominent names of the Slovak alternative scene, and at the Freedom Festival, in addition to the guaranteed hits, he will also present new items from the new album Vata. Lyrik, Erik Horák and Ema Kakarová will be joined by guitarist Zabiť František in the special line-up, so the audience can expect a concert promising a powerful experience and unbridled energy.
On the same stage, the young guitar band Blve Velvet, which today belongs to the most prominent new names of the Slovak underground, will perform. Her debut meaningful coincidence with the single Šaliem opened a new era of Slovak punk with great genre overlaps.
The atmosphere of the concert evening will be visually completed by large-format typographical works by students of the Bohumil Bača Private School of Art Industry in Bratislava under the supervision of lecturer Marek Cina, which will also create space for reflection at the event. Future graduates creatively processed several impressive statements of witnesses from the period of non-freedom, giving hope and inner strength - thereby taking these ideas to another level.
