Someone somewhere is waiting for everyone... But is it true? Or is it just a saying?
The production Broken Man intimately reveals the anatomy of male fragility.
Theatrical performance, linked with documentary materials, seeks answers to the questions: Why do some men fail at " sex market"? Why do men from dating apps get depressed? And what has happened to the world, that it has shifted from the belief that "someone is waiting for everyone somewhere" to the dynamics of hunters and prey that pick-up artists preach about?
A young man's personal story guides viewers through the world of dating. Psychological theater follows his thoughts and the reasons why he does not always succeed. How far can eternal rejection go? And what can fantasy, mixed with solitude, create?
The production was created thanks to an inter-faculty grant of AMU and the Life of an Artist Foundation in cooperation with FAMU and DAMU students.
The production uses strobe lights and is suitable for audiences aged 15 and over.
