About event

The rules, old order and adults rang for good! There is a time of innovation, novelty, short skirts, pants ... and especially teenagers and young adults!

They are more than ever trying to completely distinguish from their parents and older citizens and provoke their style, color, short skirts (mini skirts were invented at the end of the 1950s), behavior and provocative music - whether it be rock'n'roll, pop, rock or twist. Personality such as The Beatles or Subcultur. Beatniks, rockers, mods, bikers, freaks, hippies, skinheads, feminists, LGBT, Black Panthers - perhaps there have never been so many alternative groups to lean. Everything was interconnected by ideology and rebellion, mostly against war or social unevenness. They bought them in boutiques, butchers, a new invention where not only came to buy, but to talk, even drink something, and get not just one specific piece of clothing, but even the whole outfit. Dresses and accessories must be loud, as well as colors, new artificial materials and patterns that are inspired by modern pop art and psychedelics. Everything changes at high speed and vigor, so while in the early 1960s the silhouette is still similar to 50. Led, increasingly showing typical silhouette letters A, before the end of the decade gets into the mainstream wide and long pants or dresses, long melted hair and hippie "Boho" style.
Audrey Hepburn or Jackie Kennedy creates a more moderate yet very elegant style for those who haven't felt about the crowd or no age, and that we admire today. Everything that has been true so far and a new modern era begins. The real clothing quality ended for good. The fashion is becoming more accessible, dynamic and more free, and so it has a completely open, more accessible and liberating abilities - for people regardless of class or location. How big was the difference between fashion in the capitalist West and in our country? What styles and inspirations were essential for the 60s? And to what extent did the music style influenced? Was Paris still the main mecca of fashion? Who were the main actors in designing? What did the space race do for fashion? What did the ladies wear like the bottom layers? How much did the Twiggy model had? And how did the high -stupid "Beehive" hairstyles be seen? It was very beautiful and I have very nice memories of each of the lectures - all nice visitors, questions, themes, funny moments. And above all to see your joy not only to listen to something, but also to try clothing from the times that was talked about. ❤️

I can continue to run the aristocrat vintage at a time when the costs increase and buy and reduce income and are increasingly tightening to tighten everything - so thank you to visit them and help to save and preserve tangible pieces of history. After all, once. 😉

The event takes place in the premises of the aristocrat vintage, so you can not only look at the originals from this time, but possibly try and buy them. But the space is small and sitting places are only very limited, most of the lecture is standing. But if you need, of course, we will provide a chair. On Saturday afternoon.
