About event
Znouzectnost (colloquially Znouze, abbreviated ZNC) is a Czech music group from Pilsen.
It started as a group influenced by punk simplicity, but from the first recordings it included songs from other musical styles in its repertoire. They perform exclusively with their own original work.
The band was founded in 1986 by members of the groups Zastávka Mileč and Kuličkové Ložisko, which were no longer playing at the time. The founding members were Petr Škabrada ("Déma", guitar), Rudolf Procházka ("Jožžin", drums) and Jaroslav Matějovský ("Caine", two-tone guitar). Oldřich Neumann ("Golda", bass guitar) became the fourth member of the band. Their first joint public appearance took place on November 26, 1986 in the university club OKO in Pilsen. After the tragic death of Jožžin (suicide in 1987), Caine moves to the drum kit and the band continues as a three-member line-up. Between 1988 and 2009, various musicians performed with the basic line-up, and since 2010 the band has been performing almost exclusively as a trio.
