We present another of the series of three freely followed seminars devoted to the use of dance therapy when working with trauma.
The physical and mental area is conceived in dance movement therapy as a continuous spectrum, and we address problems at the physical and verbal levels. This allows clients to establish a connection with our own body and experience. This is crucial when working with traumatic emotional contents, as they are detained in the body, and affect the physical, emotional and cognitive levels. We will deal with the theoretical starting points and self -experience. Participants will introduce the individual principles of the use of TPT in this area, the possibility of working with defense at the body level, and creating healthier management strategies. The body memory of trauma is realized, processed and symbolized by the movement of the body, image, and words. An integral and important part of the process is creativity, used by expressive therapies, including dance therapy.
Klára Čížková - studied single -subject psychology at FFUK, training in dance therapy under the auspices of American Association of Dance Movement Therapy, and training in deep -dynamic psychotherapy Rafael Institute. Currently, he is working in the center of comprehensive care Roseta with clients with psychosomatic disease, where he connects verbal therapy with dance therapy and creative work with dreams. It also cooperates with the Rafael Institute, where movement groups focused on the therapy of transgeneration trauma with second and third generation clients after the Holocaust. He publishes in the field of dance therapy. She is a co -founder and director of Moving Self Institute, Z.Ú, where she teaches in the long -term training program of dance therapy.
