About event
Marleen Bijleveld - ZO FIER concert
In 2025, Fiere Vrouwen will celebrate its 10th anniversary in collaboration with the ZOJazz Stage. From January to September 2025, female musical talent will be in the spotlight from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM. Every month surprising shows on Sunday afternoon in the Zandkasteel in Amsterdam-Zuidoost.
Marleen Bijleveld kicks off the ZO FIER concert series. This versatile singer-songwriter knows how to elevate the everyday to art with her jazzy voice. She does not allow herself to be captured by genres or labels, but translates her thoughts and feelings in her own wonderful way. She draws her inspiration from greats such as Carole King and Annie M.G. Schmidt. Just like King, Marleen writes from a sincere, ego-less approach that makes her songs timeless, while she leaves her own mark with Schmidt's playful humor and language. Let yourself be carried away by a fresh mix of jazz, pop and light poetry!
ANNIVERSARY CONCERT IN OCTOBER 2025
The concert series will conclude on October 19, 2025 with the ZO FIER Festival in the brand new ZO Jazz Internship. Order your tickets here!
