About event
📖 We invite you to a discussion and presentation of the book Zoja by author Dušan Martinčok, which brings a sensitive and at the same time thought-provoking perspective on the topic of home, identity and returning to the past.
The novel follows the story of a woman who is trying to close one chapter of her life, but her native land constantly reminds her with new voices, meetings and unexpected returns. The book opens up questions of relationships, memory and what it means to "leave" and "return" 🌍.
The talk will offer a space to meet the author, discuss his work and topics that touch on the personal and social experience of home and the transformation of identity 💭.
📍 Educational Department, Slovenská 18
Entrance to the event is for holders of a reader's card card free of charge.
One-time admission for the public is charged at €2/person.
We look forward to meeting you at our library 🫶.
