About event
ZOJazz Stage Living Kitchen Concerts ft. Chibudike
From November 2024, the intimate Living Kitchen Concerts will start on Friday evenings in the rehearsal house of the ZOJazz Stage, which is located in the Zandkasteel in the middle of the Amsterdamse Poort. These concerts are specially intended for starting music professionals who have never performed in front of a large audience. A great opportunity to take the next step in their musical career.
WORDS & THOUGHTS BY CHIBUDIKE | SPOKEN WORD
ACHI CHIOMA born in Paramaribo, Suriname and EGOBUDIKE EMECHETE born in Lagos, Nigeria are a special duo from different corners of the world, but fit together perfectly. Their name CHIBUDIKE is a combination of the names of these 2 artists and means “our mind is powerful and beautiful”.
With the WORDS & THOUGHTS SPOKEN WORDS SESSIONS they bring a combination of authentic African percussion and fiery poetry in Dutch, English and Surinamese with which they will deeply touch the audience with their personal stories.
Come and enjoy this musical power duo during the 1st Living Kitchen Concert on Friday evening.
