The Kompania Christmas concert is a tradition. The band, which is now celebrating its 35th anniversary, is playing according to the motto “Every year again” this year too. Zotos Kompania was founded in 1990 and deals intensively with Rembetiko, Greek music in general and traditions from Asia Minor. The group soon made a name for itself due to the virtuosity of its musical craftsmanship, but above all its ability to dialogue
The Zotos Kompania, founded in 1990, has been playing in the same line-up for 33 years and is one of the oldest existing Rembetiko bands. The specialty of the Kompania is the combination of Rembetiko music and free improvisation and the synthesis of European and Oriental music culture. The number 35 also fits the occasion, of course.
