About event
Kirtan is a communal practice of chanting mantras that connects breath, voice and rhythm and naturally calms the nervous system.
It takes place in the form of call & response - the mantras are simply repeated, so anyone can join in, even without any singing experience.
During kirtan: - the breath naturally slows down - the body relaxes - the mind gradually quietens - a feeling of connection and inner peace arises
The practice is gentle but deep. It is not a performance - it is a return to oneself.
Mari, who will guide us in the evening, is a spontaneous person who is guided by her heart. She mainly devotes herself to the practice of yoga, which she came to through dance, and creates ceramics. He perceives both of these activities as a tool to calm down, relax and perceive himself. She loves spending time with friends, dancing, singing by the fire and sleeping under the open sky.
Singing together is followed by sitting by the fire.
