We cordially invite you to Indian and Tibetan mantras and bhajans.
Samhitá
We play the guitar accompanied by Tibetan bowls and a djembe drum. If you feel like accompanying us musically and have a feeling for playing in a group, you can bring rattles, drums or other musical instruments and enrich our singing. However, be sensitive to what is being played, whether the mood is for energetic drumming or more meditative immersion, and also how your musical accompaniment is perceived by the other singing participants. We tune our guitars to tune with Tibetan bowls at 419 Hz.
Our meetings are for those who have a sincere interest in mantras regardless of singing ability.
A mantra is understood one or more syllables or words that carry a certain meaning and above all a certain sound vibration. The word mantra in translation means a mystical or sacred text, magical formula or secret. It comes from the Sanskrit root word manas (manas – mind, man – to think) and tra (to protect).
It is therefore a tool that protects the mind. It prevents negative (or any) ideas from taking hold in the mind, which could bring about undesirable consequences in the future - because a thought (or a spoken word) is an energy that tends to materialize, thus increasing the energy needed to make that happen. what the given mantra entails.
