ZTRACENÉ ILUZE | DERNIÉRA

"You have a talent, try to revenge. Society despises you - despise you by company." The main protagonist of Balzac's story is Lucien Chardon, a gifted poet from a small town who longs to break through in Paris. The first disillusionment will experience when it finds that more important than talent is social contacts and money for the writer… A view of the company with a critical distance still makes this novel a living work.
