About event
Zumba
Our teacher Angelika, who is originally from Colombia, introduces you to Zumba.
Zumba was created in Colombia, it is a combination of movements of various Latin dances, such as salsa, merengue and cumbia , designed as an aerobic exercise. It is energetic and fun, ideal for fitness.
Latin American dances are a lively and diverse expression of the cultural wealth of the continent.
Rhythms such as salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, zumba and cumbia represent not only musical traditions rooted in different countries of the region, but also reflect a combination of African,
indigenous and European influences. Each of these dances, with its characteristic
movements and unique energy, crossed borders and became a symbol of cultural identity and a
universal expression of joy and passion. 3, Nitra
