About event
Kamila Réblová cordially invites you to screening the Světozor Film Club: Salers
Luna, journalist and political prisoner, escaped from Syria to Koblenz, Germany. Here, for the first time, members of the Syrian regime shall be proclaimed by crimes against humanity. Two men, Anwar R. and Eyad A., were supposed to commit to the torture of people who opposed Bashar Assad in Syrian prisons. Luna Watf was also in one of the cells. She was closed for thirteen months for documented war atrocities. Luna continues to exile in Germany, where she did not miss a single day of the groundbreaking trial with her former prison guards. Luna tries to remain objective, even if the testimonies are revived by painful memories. The former employee of the cemetery in Damascus describes how he transported and buried his bodies from mass graves. The military photographer shows the secret images of mutilated bodies that he documented for the regime. The film follows Luna's way for understanding what in this case can be considered justice. You
