CURIOUS DEBATES are a series of inspiring meetings that culminate in a discussion with outstanding Slovak female scientists during Science and Technology Week 2025. Bratislava will be their final stop. Be there!
💬 What will be discussed?
About science, discoveries and also about how women in Slovakia work in a scientific environment. What do their professional and personal lives look like, what obstacles do they struggle with and what motivates them not to give up.
👩🔬 Discussing personalities:
Alena Kanabová – the first laureate of the Woman in IT award, a fighter for digital skills and diversity in technologies.
doc. RNDr. Soňa Kucharíková, PhD. – expert on the resistance of microorganisms, laureate of L'Oréal - UNESCO For women in science.
prof. Gabriela Czanner – a mathematician from Oxford and Harvard who combines statistics, AI and medicine.
🎙 Moderator: Katarína "Becca" Balážiová, known as a voice from radio and podcasts, engaged in health and prevention topics.
