The new undertaking of the group entitled Spectra (Brutality Garden, 2022/2024) is the original reinterpretation of traditional and modern rhythms characteristic of Africa and South America, which also less appeared on previous albums. The new face of the group lies in the strongly syncophable rhythm made by two drummers-percussionist (Jacek Buhl, Rafał Iwański) and bassist (Piotr Michalski), who create scaffolding for wild post-internet and well-known electronic collages by Łukasz Jędrzejczak and Jakub Ziołek. This new artistic direction is "spectral" in many meanings: it creates a continuum of various musical trails, combining such different species as GQom, Free Jazz, UK Bass, Krautrock, IDM, Post-Industrial, Batida in one different to the different one.
The effect is the only tropical and intestrous mix in which The avant-garde meets with Afro-Hous, and the extensive sampling and granular synthesis techniques are closed with a frenetic game of a live rhythm section. The idea that guides the new work of the band is the total integration of electronics with live playing and the blur of all divisions between high and low art, sublime and vulgar creativity, avant -garde and entertainment, music "for the soul" and music "for the body". However, this is not a postmodern feast for tired spirits, or the word of nostalgic longing for a long -lost unity with nature, but new realism in constantly
changing world.
equipo || Ala | MEDA || He is famous for its extremely intense and euphoric concerts, which provided him with performances at such festivals as: Bedem Fest in Montenegro, Square - Mapping the Atlantic in Portugal, Colors of Ostrava, Positive Futures in Innsbruck, Wine Nat White Heat in Nantes and Paris, Jaiyed Jazz in Jazz in Odense, Sharpe in Bratislava, Avant Art in Warsaw and Wrocław, Ethnies en Bydgoszcz, Katowice Jazzart Festival, no sólido en Cracovia y muchos otros. The group consists of five experienced artists representing various generations of musical innovators: Jacek Buhl (Jachna/Mazurkiewicz/Buhl, Trytoons), Rafał Iwański (Voices of the Cosmos, Hati, Innercity Ensemble), Łukasz Jędrzejczak (T’ien Lai, Javva), Piotr Michalski (3moonboys) Lai, Old River, Jantar, Innercity Ensemble).
