Conferencias para el público ayer y esta vez están dedicadas al importante Jubileo del Umprum, el aniversario del 140 aniversario de su inicio. 38. The cycle will focus on "personalities from the history of UMPRUM". The lecture zone is closed by prof. Lada Hubatova-Vackova lecture "UMPRUMA and faithful Ruskinian Marie Teinitzer".
Marie Hoppe-Teinitzer (1879-1960) fue uno de los primeros estudiantes de Umprum para mujeres, estudiando aquí escuelas de pintura y cartílago para mujeres. Very soon she began to devote herself to textile craft work, workmanship, became a faithful follower of the ARTS and CRAFTS reform movement. Ella era una lectora de los escritos del socialista cristiano John Ruskin y sus ideas trataron de poner constantemente en la práctica de los talleres textiles, que fundó en Jindřichův Hradec. The lecture will focus mainly on the early period of this textile artist, which was linked to her studies at c.k. The School of Decorative Arts in Prague, with the influence of the Arts and Crafts movement and with the ARTEL association.
