🎶 Interpretácia Milana Paľu a Kataríny Paľovej sa dlhodobo vyznačuje nielen mimoriadnou technickou suverenitou, ale aj odvahou objavovať hudbu, ktorá stojí mimo hlavného repertoárového prúdu. K menej známym dielam pristupujú s osobnou zaangažovanosťou, vďaka ktorej sa ich interpretácia stáva viac než precíznym sprostredkovaním notového zápisu – nadobúda charakter autentickej výpovede. Program dnešného koncertu spája tri kompozície autorov zo stredoeurópskeho a východoeurópskeho priestoru, v ktorých sa osobitý kompozičný jazyk stretáva s intenzívnym emocionálnym obsahom.
Sonáta č. 2 Františka Gregora Emmerta odhaľuje kontrasty medzi lyrickým stíšením a dramatickým pohybom. V skladbe A Fourth Circle Hanny Kulenty sa opakujúce klavírne súzvuky, pripomínajúce zvuk zvonov, stávajú východiskom naliehavej zvukovej výpovede. Večer uzatvára Sonáta č. 3 Valentina Bibika, dielo širokého výrazového rozpätia, v ktorom sa dramatické vzopätia stretávajú s krehkou lyrikou.
Všetky tri kompozície spája interpretačný prístup manželov Paľovcov, ktorých vzťah k objavovanému repertoáru presahuje technickú virtuozitu a smeruje k hlbokému porozumeniu hudobnému obsahu.
The performances of Milan Paľa and Katarína Paľová have long been characterised not only by exceptional technical mastery, but also by a courage to explore music that lies outside the mainstream repertoire. They approach lesser-known works with a personal commitment, thanks to which their performance becomes more than a precise rendering of the musical score – it takes on the character of an authentic statement. The programme for today’s concert brings together three compositions by composers from Central and Eastern Europe, in which a distinctive compositional language meets intense emotional content.
František Gregor Emmert’s Sonata No. 2 reveals the contrasts between lyrical calm and dramatic movement. In Hanna Kulenty’s *A Fourth Circle*, recurring piano chords, reminiscent of the sound of bells, form the basis of an urgent sonic narrative. The evening concludes with Valentin Bibik’s Sonata No. 3, a work of wide expressive range in which dramatic outbursts meet delicate lyricism.
All three compositions are united by the interpretative approach of Milan Paľa and Katarína Paľová, whose relationship with the repertoire they are exploring goes beyond technical virtuosity and is directed towards a deep understanding of the musical content.
