From Oregon, USA, the emigrant Vlastimil Reiner (Jiří Schmitzer), a war veteran and a former political prisoner arrive in Prague's Ruzyn. He is already over eighty, he is chained to a wheelchair and to a large extent dependent on the help of others. That is why Antonín (Ladislav Mrkvička) is waiting for him at the airport, an ancient friend from the anti -communist resistance. Il veut retrouver et tuer le procureur communiste Václav Mráz, que les tribunaux post-révolutionnaires ne pouvaient pas ou ne voulaient pas punir pour ses crimes de la 50e année.

Tonda borrows an old residential van from his grandson and adjusts it so that Vlasta can move in it. Both old men set out on a very difficult way for them for their retribution.
