Zapomělsem

The music project Zapoměls, behind which is the Brno-Jeseni songwriter Aleš Macenauer, captured the Czech alternative scene in 2021 with the album Měsíc ve váz. The original folk aesthetic fades from his second album Jesnou from 2023, and the album shifts to an electronic sound dominated by synths, dance beats and post-punk guitars. The author retains his characteristic signature here, but this time the production is transferred to the floor of the "sad disco". The flagship single I laughed and the stars were falling is still in rotation on stations such as Radio 1 and Radio Wave, some other songs also appeared, for example, on Radio Proglas. The record itself was included in the top 10 recordings of last year by the program Reflektor and Vinila called it the album of the week.

Zivé Zapoměls performs in a two- to three-member line-up . Guitars, analog synthesizers and samplers appear on stage, and the concerts themselves oscillate between indie guitar to soft techno. During its existence, Zamopěljes played more than a hundred concerts, among others at the Metronome, Boskovice and Banát festivals. He also performed as support for Jaromír 99 or post-music.
