City Sounds: Ghost-Note

On June 2, Bratislava is waiting for an evening that will push the boundaries of the concert experience.

The American formation Ghost-Note, an exceptional rhythmic supergroup from Dallas, turns its concerts into a pulsating organism built on groove, virtuosity and unbridled energy. Ghost-Note poggia sulle solide basi di due personalità di spicco della scena musicale contemporanea: il batterista Robert "Sput" Searight e il percussionista Nate Werth, membri della pluripremiata band Snarky Puppy. Both are holders of several Grammy awards and are among the most respected rhythmists of their generation.

Since 2012, the City Sounds festival has been bringing the Slovak audience world-class concerts in the field of jazz and the music genres derived from it, such as soul, blues, funk, world music, but also performances of serious and contemporary music, or a mutual fusion of these genres.
