How are our clothes connected to the ocean – and is there really such a thing as the “most sustainable” textile?

From Clothes to Corals is an interactive pilot workshop combining marine and environmental science with everyday choices. Through hands-on activities, we will explore textile materials, microfibers and their pathways into aquatic environments, before looking at another often misunderstood part of the story: chemicals and washing.

Become a Textile Detective, experiment with everyday laundry products in the pH Pathfinder, and discover how scientists use systems thinking to understand complex environmental problems.

Rather than giving you a list of “good” and “bad” products, the workshop invites you to touch, test, question and discuss – and develop your own more informed perspective on sustainable clothing.

☕ A short coffee/tea break is included.

No scientific background required – just curiosity.
