What is Kimchi (김치)?
Kimchi is one of Korea’s most iconic foods, with a history spanning centuries. Traditionally made from fermented vegetables, kimchi is celebrated for its distinctive balance of spicy, sour, salty, and umami flavors.
Kimchi Workshop Agenda
• Discover the history and culture of Korean kimchi
• Learn the basics of vegetable fermentation
• Prepare your own plant-based kimchi from scratch
• Take your kimchi home and learn how to ferment and store it
• Enjoy a tasting during the workshop
