Afterwork Paris
Hello everyone,
You like afterwork, we do too and we are going to do several per week, each time with a different way of experiencing afterwork in Paris, oriented towards conviviality.
After the success of our first group "socializing with internationals in Paris" which became the first group for internationals in Paris. We wanted to continue the adventure for Parisians and French people who want to discover another way of having afterwork in Paris.
We are therefore very proud to open the first French-speaking meetup group for afterworks
The concept of this group is always to help people meet regularly to meet new people and socialize in a friendly atmosphere in Paris.
This meetup is intended for all French people, Frenchies, French speakers who want to meet up in Paris but also for all French people who want to meet international people.
But why create a group dedicated to afterwork in Paris?
Do you know afterwork?
Originally, it is this “cool” and Anglo-Saxon concept which consists of going to share a beer, or a glass of wine, with colleagues after work. A friendly moment that can take place either within the walls of the company - in an authorized space! - or outside, in a bar or other festive type place.
Paradoxically, if the idea, the concept of afterwork is popular, it is much less practiced! The proof: 59% of Parisians never have after-work parties. And of these 59%, nearly three out of four employees go straight home at the end of the day... But why?
Simply because the main advantage of an afterwork is socializing with colleagues or strangers in a different context. It is clear that most places dedicated to afterwork in Paris have not understood the essentials, how to create a friendly evening!!!
Most famous places continue to offer glasses of sparkling wine to make customers dream of drinking a small glass of champagne, the formula is successful and sometimes an all-you-can-eat buffet is offered to the participant with more or less quality depending on the establishment.... but in all this what about conviviality? well it is clear that the idea is a little lost in Paris and this is where we intervene :) and that you intervene by sharing our group with your friends or by becoming an ambassador and leaving your phone as a comment the evening because it's also a way to meet more people and sometimes even get a free place :)
Unlike our Anglo-Saxon friends, Parisians wishing to have afterwork parties must organize them themselves, with their own funds. Today, this concept is not supported internally by companies. and this is also where we intervene by trying to regularly offer one or two free places to our ambassadors!! We will gradually build up a community of afterwork fans who will be able to join us for various friendly evenings
The benefits of our “afterwork meetup group”Above all, it is about reinventing the concept by offering evenings also outside of Thursdays because it is said that afterwork can be offered every day
