Anna Stavělová

Anna Stavělová studied the flute at the music gymnasium in Prague with Hana Tylšarová, and continued at the conservatories in Prague and Pilsen with Jan Riedlbauch and Jan Ostrý. During her studies, she gained experience as a solo flutist of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, and finished her studies at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse in Lyon with Philippe Bernold. She is a sought-after interpreter of contemporary music and is regularly invited to the Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain in Lyon or the Prague ensembles Orchestr Berg and Prague Modern. As a solo flutist, she performed with the Lyon Opera Orchestra, the Orchester National du Capitol in Toulouse and the Sinfonia Varsovia. Since 2015, Anna Stavělová has been teaching at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava.
